Summer is approaching and while for many of us that means hot weather and bikinis, for the St. Tammany Humane

Society it means something a little different. And when we say little, what we actually mean is little baby kittens needing a lot of love and attention! When hot weather is upon us, so it kitten season!
So.....It's time to call in the troops, gather the supplies and strategize. It's about to get rough out there!
Are you able to open your heart and your home to an animal in need? The more fosters we have available means the more babies we can save!
We are looking for kitten fosters for all ages. This includes bottle babies, special needs kitties and even mothers still nursing their litters. There are many adorable animals who need a warm place to stay and a gentle hand to socialize them. If you are not able to open your home this kitten season, you can still contribute by making a donation or donating an item from the list below. Your contribution will enable us to purchase more foster supplies and ultimately allow us to save more lives. To make a donation, click here!
- Kitten food dry and canned
- Kitten Formula (Breeder's Choice)
- Supplical High Calorie Paste (for kittens & puppies)
- Blankets, towels, etc.
- Heating pads (Kind that stays on with low settings)
- Tote Bags (Bags for foster to take home with supplies)
- Bottle kits for kittens
- Shallow dishes for feeding small animals
- Cat wipes
- Small toys
