Save Angel, the Puppy Found Under a House!

We received a call late yesterday of a sweet little girl named Angel. Angel was left under a house in St. Mary Parish, abandoned and left to fend for herself. Significant injuries to both her femur and pelvis left Angel with little hope for survival. That is until Animal Advocates of St. Mary got a hold of her story and contacted us. Knowing our CEO has a soft spot for Black Labs, STHS Intake Manager, Jacqie Bella, asked him the question, “Is this little girl’s life worth saving?” AND the answer was YES!

An examination by the vet determined Angel would need an FHO surgery to correct both the femur and pelvis breaks. Our friends at Three Rivers Animal Hospital are more than capable to perform the surgery, but we still need your help! The full veterinary expenses for Angel’s stay with us will total $1,000. The group at Animal Advocates of St. Mary have already raised half ($470;) we only have $500 left to save her life! Sweet Angel is only eight months old and has no background information. If she could tell her story, we’d be amazed at what she’s already endured. Please consider donating toward this precious little one. It is only though your support that we are able to save innocent lives like hers.
