Pretty in Pink, Ms. Mamie Paisley, is the fashionista of the shelter. Her sweet personality and demeanor do not tell the "tail" of the long and scary life she has lead for the past eight years.
Ms. Mamie came to us very recently after living her life trapped in a small kennel, used solely for breeding. She and another rescue Papi Chester didn't even know how to drink from a real water bowl! They were used to drinking from a rabbit water bottle; one that hangs on the wall of the kennel and drips as they lick it. We were contacted to help and of course we did!
Now we are asking for help for Mamie Paisley. Because she is eight years old, and breed time after time, she is in need of live saving surgery. Ms. Mamie has developed tumors in her mammary glands that need to be removed. Help us continue to save Mamie Paisley by donating funds for her surgery.
