Thomas Swanton may be your everyday Pizza Hut delivery driver, but little did he know one of his deliveries would change this dog’s life forever.
During one of his pizza deliveries, Thomas noticed a very pretty dog walking with a limp. The customer who answered the door informed Thomas that the pup had been roaming the streets of his neighborhood for months. Seeing that the dog was injured, Thomas couldn’t bear to leave him abandoned any longer. He invited the pup into his car and the rest was history! His new name would be Jeb. The first day with Thomas was the worst; they didn't know if he would even make it through the night.
Thomas created a GoFundMe Account which helped him give Jeb some of the veterinary care he needed. Unfortunately, the money Thomas collected did not cover all of Jeb's overwhelming medical expenses. He turned to us for help. Jeb (now Giuseppe) is officially a dog of St. Tammany Humane Society and will be available for adoption soon! Giuseppe will receive all vaccinations, a microchip, and will be neutered through our veterinary clinic. During his neuter, our surgery team will determine if his leg can be saved or if amputation is his best option. Giuseppe's near future may be uncertain but one thing is not; he will receive the best quality care and a chance at a new, forever family!
Depending on the condition of Giuseppe's injury, his medical care will cost anywhere between $250 - $600.
