Barksgiving Foster Event: No Pet Left Behind This Thanksgiving!
This Thanksgiving, we’re giving thanks for second chances — and we need your help to make sure no animal spends the holiday alone. 
Our Barksgiving Foster Event invites you to open your heart and home to one of our shelter pets for the Thanksgiving break. For just one week, you can give a dog or cat the warmth, love, and comfort they deserve — a soft bed instead of a kennel, family instead of loneliness.
Event Details:
Pick-Up Days: Monday, Nov. 24 – Wednesday, Nov. 26
Location: Northshore Humane Society, 20384 Harrison Ave., Covington, LA
Pick-Up Times: 9AM – 4PM each day
Return Date: Monday, Dec. 1
We provide everything you need — food, toys, litter, kennels, and more! (If you have a kennel, please bring it along — supplies are limited!)
Simply stop by on your preferred pick-up day, and our team will help match you with the perfect Thanksgiving guest. 
Together, we can make sure every tail is wagging and every purr is heard this holiday season. Because no pet should have to spend Thanksgiving alone.
