Eric McVicker, 2020 Board Member
Eric McVicker is a resident of Mandeville, LA, graduate of LSU and has a diverse professional background including political and organizational fundraising, radio, public relations, and legislative work. Eric has assisted with the needs of the community working in both the Louisiana House of Representatives and the United States Senate in Washington DC. He is active in the St. Tammany Parish community and routinely can be found at civic events and meetings engaging with community and civic leaders.
He currently works for himself as a fundraising consultant for political campaigns and non-profits around the Northshore and state of Louisiana. He is also a professional photographer and he recently turned this hobby into a deep passion for presenting the beauty of the Northshore and the unique culture of Southeast Louisiana. His work aims to capture the serene landscapes and intriguing southern charm of St. Tammany Parish to present to the community. Eric turns to photography and projecting nature’s innate beauty as an escape from the constant hustle and bustle of the political world.
Eric is a graduate of Loyola University’s Institute of Politics program and serves on the Board of the Youth Service Bureau. He was also a Northshore’s Finest Honoree for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and formerly served on the board of Safe Harbor. He is currently the Vice-President of his neighborhood association in Mandeville.
Eric and his fiancée Melanie have three cats Winston F. Churchill, Toula and Roux, and Annie, a rescue pup adopted from NHS!
